We are an alpaca farm in mid-south Wales called Fancy That Alpacas. We specialise in wonderfully coloured animals, with excellent health, conformation and advanced fleece. We have breeding for many years and are now proud to have many of the leading pedigree lines of alpacas in our herd, who are all registered with the BAS.
We are not a big herd, so all our young animals are very well handled, and have lovely, friendly temperaments.
ALPACAS AVAILABLE
We would love to help you with either adding to your existing herd or in starting up a herd of your own. We have pet boys, open females and pregnant females, some with cria at foot and stunning herd sires, in a range of colours: Appaloosa, Multi and Grey as well as most of the solid colours. We can provide small groups and a starter herd. What we have available varies, so please do get in touch for our most recent sales information.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
I am an affiliate trainer with the British Alpaca Society and offer courses in husbandry, handling, feeding, assessment/fleece and conformation, breeding and birthing. I also offer courses on zoom, or here on the farm, in setting up your alpaca farm and have comprehensive notes with what and where to source what you need to start up with alpacas. We also offer bespoke courses to suit your needs. Please contact me for more information.
When purchasing alpaca from us:
- Alpaca must live in a group of 3 as a minimum.
- A* homes only.
- Females in cria, come with a live cria birth guarantee.
- Comprehensive husbandry support is given locally or by telephone if further away.
- BAS registration & transfer fees are included.
- Fully vaccinated and very regularly parasite checked, pre-movement worming will be given.
- Delivery can be arranged at a reasonable cost.
