HIGHFIELD ALPACAS - A rainbow of fine fleeces from high fields to high fashion!
Highfield Alpacas has been established for over 10 years. All stock are predominantly from Bozedown, Fowberry and The Alpaca Stud.
My boys and girls are winners/champions in their own right or descendants of these successes.
I breed for quality and selection of colour. All stock have been TB tested as negative.
I currently have 2 beautiful babies available 1 pretty brown girl and 1 handsome white boy.
The brown girl has a rose grey dam and a silver grey sire, so will produce grey cria bred to the right sire.
The babies sires have Alpaca Stud Nyetimber in their pedigree and they have fantastic temperaments.
The dams have Benjiro of Alpaca Stud, Shafts Dream, Fowberry Nobility and Jolimont champions in their pedigrees and they also have fantastic temperaments.
The youngsters are weaned, eating hard feed, vitamin treated, wormed and treated for Coccidia.
They will be registered with the British Alpaca society.
Prices are competitively lower than the average price for gender/colour on the internationally renouned Alpaca Seller.
Alpacas are herd animals and must have company of other alpacas. They need 1/2 acre per trio, with shelter and eat grass, hay, haylage and corn feed.
Alpacas make wonderful fox guards as adults so are often kept around chickens for their safety.
Buying alpacas as babies is ideal as they are easier to tame & halter train as youngsters.
