Original Eddison living van that would have been towed behind a steam engine as the living accommodation for road workers.
We have restored this living van as originally as possible on the original wheels and chassis paying close attention to the location and size of the windows and doors etc.
Rebuilt by craftsman to the finest detail with no expense spared, all timber was left to dry out properly, then knotted
with a coat of primer and 2 coats of under coat all round before being fitted and hand nailed with traditional nails over a vapour barrier.
Fully insulated, walls and floor with celotex, ceiling with trioso 10, slimline heritage double glazing.
Reclaimed floor boards to match original.
240 electrics and plumbing to supply the self contained kitchen unit which has a two ring hob built in microwave fridge and sink etc simply plug in to the mains and it’s ready to go. The kitchenette can simply be removed and a wood burner can be put back in its original location.
We have decided to sell as we do not use it to its full potential, this has been a long and much loved restoration over 5 years so not one of the diy make a quick buck rubbish that is listed on here, it would be at home at a steam fair beside a steam engine or would enhance any garden.
We have the original towing frame to tow it with.
