I have owned this guitar from new, purchased in October 2022 and it’s in pristine condition. It’s a stunning looking art deco/retro style of guitar which Duesenberg are renowned for and made in Germany to their very high standards. In white, black and with nickel fittings it’s very classy and certainly stands out from other guitars. I have other gigging guitars and this has been used exclusively for home practice, but it’s now surplus to requirements. I’ve used it twice outside of the home.
The Paloma is a solid body, three pickup, 22 fret electric guitar, featuring an alder body, short Duesenberg Radiator Tremola (Bigsby style), and a set neck with a 648mm scale.
The Paloma is for those who seek ultimate flexibility. The three pickup layout featuring Grand Vintage Humbucker and two matched Duesenberg Single coils, Pearlito and Alnico Blade, offer a wide variety of sounds for any situation. The four pickup combinations are accessible through a 4-Way rotary switch. All of that is topped off by a premium Radiator Tremola, deluxe Diamond fretboard inlays and a beautifully shaped body contour.
The feel and playability of the neck is outstanding with an Indian rosewood fretboard. The guitar also comes with its own Duesenberg custom hard case which is also excellent in its own right with 6 sturdy locking catches.
