A Superb Antique Art Deco Tray.
There's five different Mountain Coastal Scenes, made from wings which gives a beautiful violet / primrose type evening sunset effect.
It believe it to be anything from 1920's / 1940's.
The woodwork is a lovely coloured mahogany. Very smooth to touch & tactile. A nicely shaped form with inset marketry around the edges.
In expected used condition for an item of this nature. It's had an historical repair, as wood has been fitted to the underside. I'm not quite sure why they've done this, but it's solid & fit for purpose if you still wished to use it as a tray. The inset glass does move slightly, however, despite the movement it's perfectly safe. It would also look great as a piece of art or centre piece.
It's approx 22" by 14".
