DS423+ like its predecessor the DS920+ (which I own) is based on the intel J4125 (geminilake platform) that allows video transcoding on the fly, which lends perfectly to serving your video library through plex/emby/jellyfin etc..:
1) Brand new DS423+ (£420) , in Box , never opened/used (registration on synology to start 3 year warranty period)

2) Brand new 16GB DDR4 RAM (will expand DS423+ to 18GB total RAM for running multiple docker containers ) (£30)

3) x2 pre-used Kingston 250GB A2000 (allow read/write caching for file transfer acceleration but can also be put to better use when mapped as a new volume onto which you install the Synology container manager/docker containers) (£10))
