WANTED - safe and steady 1st horse type

Due to the forthcoming retirement of my loan horse, i'm beginning the search for a full loan, LWVTB or purchase...would need to be a first horse type so no nasties, no bucking, rearing or bolting. Slow and steady.

Don't mind age ( golden oldies welcome) breed, looks, gender. Doesn't need to be well schooled, isn't going to be shown, does need to be a safe, slow hack with brakes.

I've been riding 30 years, have owned and loaned throughout that time but am not ready to take anything fizzy, forward or quirky on.

Looking for 14hh(if stocky) or bigger. Within one hour or so of Wolverhampton. Flexible budget dependant on horse
