This stunning, confident, young female alpaca was born on 25 May 2023. She has masses of gorgeous soft fleece and great conformation. She would be an excellent choice for those wanting to start a foundation herd with top quality BAS registered alpacas or to introduce some great bloodlines to your existing herd. I am offering her at a very reasonable price.
Her sire is a gorgeous grey Champion who holds a Championship and two reserve Championships. This girl has a great pedigree with both her sires parents being Houghton with Popham lines on the dams side.
She is easy to handle with a calm temperament and lovely soft fleece. All alpacas born on the farm are regularly handled from birth. They are all fully vaccinated, having had all had an initial course of Bravoxin 10 vaccine and another at 6 months of age. They have had regular vitamin and minerals and been fed on a top quality alpaca feed to give them a good start in life.
I have several young female alpacas of a similar age to make up a starter herd if required. Discounts available on packages.
For those new to alpacas, we offer a free husbandry course which includes body scoring, famacha scoring, giving injections (if required), toenail clipping etc. Also, a comprehensive guide to caring for your alpacas is sent by email.
