A reproduction writing desk.
An attractive, compact and smart antique-style bureau bookcase, makes for an ideal workspace without taking up too much room. The bookcase section comes with the original working key and opens up to 2 shelves.
The desk section interior features a useful set of pigeon holes and small drawers and an attractive leather (skiver) and tooling, also with the original working key. Below, the base offers generous storage with 4 graduated drawers that all run smoothly with the original ornate brass handles.
Note; This piece splits into the top and bottom pieces, for ease of moving.
Condition report: Offered in good solid condition for its age, no major breaks or repairs noted. While there is some minor wear commensurate, there is nothing detrimental to its overall appearance, future use or charm. Please study the photos as they do also form part of the description.
