Vintage Pond Yacht - ''Marooned''

This pond yacht was purchased as a restoration project from an antiques market some time ago.

The rulers in the picture are each 1M long to give you some idea of the overall size of the pond yacht.

The hull is carved from solid wood with a metal keel plate and a heavy lead keel.

The deck has been planked with pearwood planking strips and the mast and booms are made from seasoned hardwood.

Whilst fully rigged for sailing, the yacht is predominantly a display piece and the purpose built display stand is included in the sale.
