A beautiful rare set of of figurines from the The Dux Porcelain Manufactory was founded in 1860 by Eduard Eichler, in what was then the Bohemian town of Duchov (now in the Czech Republic). The firm is generally referred to by its more common name, Royal Dux. By the beginning of the 20th Century, the company specialized in porcelain statuary and busts of Art Nouveau-style maidens, large porcelain figures, and ornate vases with three-dimensional figures climbing on the sides
