Lovely paces
Unfortunately due to my health, she was left unridden for a while but now has a loaner who keeps her in moderate work.
She’s a bit weak in her canter but once built up finds it easy.
Lovely smooth transitions.
Could easily got to strong novice/intermediate with little work.
Soft mouth - always snaffle
Great in open fields, in traffic etc.
Does not jump. I also choose not to due to her build and size.
Downside - she doesn’t like hacking. I’m sure this is something that could be built one but I’m not overly bothered so never persisted.
She never does anything nasty just refuses to move and naps.
Overall, she’s a pleasure to have on any yard, easy to handle and just a joy.
Everyone loves her and has been handled from 4 - 70 year olds….
I love her to pieces but I just can’t give what she needs.
Unfortunately, I have had my tack recently stolen so am trying to get some more. So at the minute, unless you want to try bareback, she cannot be ridden trialed.
