Advert Description

A vintage teapot stand and 8 modern coasters. The teapot stand dates back to the early 1970's and is typical of the period. The base looks and feels like melamine and has a smooth rounded edge. It has a woodgrained effect bottom and a white top with a floral pattern on the top. It has a basket work edge which continues through to the base creating a raised platform to stop heat damage on other surfaces. It has been used a bit in the past and has slight evidence of this on the upper side of the base (see photos). Otherwise the general condition is good. It does have other uses other than for teapots. The aporox. meadurements are: the widest diameter is 7.3/4" (19.5cm), the inner diameter is 6.3/4" (17cm) & the height is 1.1/2" (3.5cm). The 8 coasters are more modern and date back to the late 2000's. They are made of cork and have approx. meadurements of: 4.1/8" (10.25cm) square & 0.1/2" (0.20cm) thick. They have 4 fifferent beach scenes. One coastet has a very slight water mark that I don't know how it got there as they have mot been used. (see photos). I am selling because these items will not get used in the future and I am downsizing in general. They can be posted, they can be collected or I can meet within a reasonable distance. I have other items I am selling and I would be happy to combine and do a deal.
