Vintage Light Bulb Bayonet Cap BC/B22 Splitter Adapter

For Sale is quite a vintage item that splits a Bayonet Cap light socket into 3 BC light sockets.

It was designed to give more light in one area from one light socket by fitting this adapter into the light socket then fitting 3x 60W or 100W bulbs into the 3 light sockets of the adapter.

These days I wouldn't recommend fitting 3 tungsten filament incandescent bulbs into this adapter as it would get too hot but 3 LED bulbs or CFL (compact fluorescent lamp) bulbs would be fine.

The CFL bulbs pictured are not included with this item. This is just for example only.
