Paul Bommer painting 1998

Paul is a well-known ceramicist and this is one of a series of paintings he did after leaving university in the '90s. It is based on the names of London Underground stations, this one being the Isle of Dogs. It is signed and dated. The frame, which I believe he made himself, is covered in a silver foil-like material. A bit of a rarity as he has mostly if not exclusively concentrated on ceramics in his career to date. Read more
