Westwood ride on mower S1300 - Spares or repair

Westwood S1300 had it since new, about 2004. Fully serviced at the end of last season (cost £375) including a new blade bearing and sweeper fingers. New battery a month ago. It’s a tidy machine, the deck is sound, everything works as it should apart from, as of two days ago, the engine! Sounds like the valve seat has popped out which I understand is a straightforward repair. In very good condition, privately used only and always stored in the garage. Read more
