Due to been unable to have the time required to spend with Basil, I have made the difficult decision to find Basil a new home where he can have more time spent.
About me: Hi my name is Basil, I am 25 years old. I previously lived with a lady for many years until she passed away, I then lived with another lady who passed away after 6 month and so was inherited by my current owner who has had me for nearly 4 years. I like lots of attention. I’m not a fan of men (Reason unknown) and prefer to be with women. When I love you I love to be out of my cage and sit close to you, my favourite place is on the back of the sofa behind you or on your shoulders. If you get up I will fly to you. My favourite food is walnuts. My favourite toy is my bell. If you want to get me in my cage just ring my bell, I’m very protective of it.i don’t like people putting their hands in my cage, that’s my domain, I like to come out when I’m ready. I’ve been plucking as I get anxious been left for so long, when I’m happy I have full feathers however due to work commitments my current owner is not able to be with me much throughout the day.
Do you think you could give me lots of your time as I love you to sing to me. I whistle, say hello, oh oh and like to try to sing (I love music).
