15.1hh liver chestnut well bred WPB gelding 7 years old. Please read carefully before messaging (comments will not be followed - message only ) also I am a very busy person so please no timewasters or dreamers.
Cas is a lovely boy who I have had since 18 months of age and backed him myself. Due to work commitments and health (mine) he is very low mileage and still green, not suitable for a novice as he is a forward going and responsive ride. That being said he does not buck, rear or bolt, is lovely and soft in the mouth and has wonderful movement. He needs further education to bring out the best in him and thrives best in regular work which I have not had the time to do. He is best living out 24/7 and does not enjoy being stabled for any long periods. Never sick or sorry, no issues whatsoever and open to any vetting.
He has done some basic schooling and hacks alone and in company although there is limited hacking opportunity at current yard so he has not been out much where we are now. Snaffle mouthed. He has not yet been jumped but has enjoyed some basic ground pole work in the past.
To ride - light, responsive, eager to please. Very trainable. Likes to be kept busy - needs a job to do and to keep his brain working. Forward going. Fidgety to mount!
On the ground - can be a little pushy. Not nasty in anyway but does have a tendency to get a bit impatient with things. Needs clear boundaries for personal space etc. Can get a little stressy at times in new places/environments/with new people. Good for the farrier but can take a while to warm to a new one. Not overly keen on the vet, but manageable, up to date on teeth, feet, worming etc.
The ?? is negotiable to the right home but he will not go for peanuts and with a bit of work will make someone a lovely little horse, he has bags of potential. If you are serious and think he sounds suitable for you please message.
